Strategy for Split Party

Hi There, I'll be utilizing Wait Magic for the first time on my upcoming trip. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for the best way to book and use it for a party where the booking window is mixed. My family will be staying on site and has access 7 days prior, while my Mother in Law will be joining us at the parks (lives in FL) and only has a 3 day window. Should i book my family now and hers at the 3 day mark...or wait until we all have access? How can I utilize Wait Magic to make sure we all get what we want? Any suggestions or help is much appreciated.
